Aigerim Beisembekova, Flute

Aigerim Beisembekova began her musical studies with the recorder and switched to the flute a few years later. She completed her undergraduate studies from the College of Arts in Karaganda and graduate studies from the Kazakh National Conservatory in Almaty. As a music student, she worked with professional orchestras covering various genres of music including classical, pop and folk. Her passion for symphonic music brought her to India to join the Symphony Orchestra of India. She was the winner of the Competition for Young Performers for wind instruments (2007), International Delphi Games for Young Performers (2009), Republic Inter-Conservatory Competition (2013), International Competition in the category of flute ensemble (2016) amongst others. Aigerim has been a flautist with the Symphony Orchestra of India and teacher in the NCPA Special Music Training Programme since June 2016.

Prayash Biswakarma, Violin

Prayash Biswakarma stared learning Violin at the age of 3 in a music school in Darjeeling. His teacher is his Father. He had his first public concert when he was 3 and a half years old. In 2012 he won the Lions Global Youth Music Competition All India Below 25 years age. And he has won many more music competitions. He was also awarded a Gold Medal from Telegraph All India Music Awards for his Outstanding Talent. In 2012 he was invited by Jesuit mission in Germany to play for the "Weltweite Klange" Orchestra Project for one and a half months to tour Italy, Switzerland, Austria and France. In 2016 he gave audition for Symphony Orchestra of India for the post of Violinist and he was selected. So hence he is currently playing 1st violin for the Symphony Orchestra of India.

Alpamys Bissengaliyev, Saxophone

Born in a family of musicians, Alpamys Bissengaliyev began his musical studies in piano and saxophone. He is a graduate of the Republican Kazakh Specialized Music School for Gifted Children. Though he trained in classical music, he also enjoyed playing jazz and went on to join the Conservatory to pursue his career as a saxophonist. As a student, he worked as a musician in a wind orchestra and a jazz band. Alpamys has been the winner of numerous competitions including the International Competiton for Young Performers of wind instruments in Almaty, Kazakhstan (2010, 2012, 2013), International Competition Astana Merei in Astana, Kazakhstan (2011), International competition in Alanya, Turkey (2011) and the international competition for young performers in Baku, Azerbaijan (2015). Alpamys has been a musician and teacher with the Symphony Orchestra of India since January 2017.

Ruslan Galilov, Clarinet

Born and raised in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Ruslan Galilov began learning the recorder at the age of 5 and later moved on to the clarinet at 9. He studied at the Republican Special Music for gifted children named after Kulyash Bayseitova. He then graduated from the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy. Ruslan studied

the clarinet under the well-known professor Zhanat Ermanov. He has won numerous prizes at wind instrument competitions the first and second prize at the republic competition for students. Galilov was part of the State Wind Orchestra of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Besides the clarinet, he enjoys playing football, reading books and writing poems. Ruslan has been a musician and teacher with the Symphony Orchestra of India since 2018.
